I was facing problems starting httpd on mac using brew. Took me few minutes to figure out what was the actual problem. I thought I will share if you are facing same issue as well.

Starting httpd was fine.

brew services start httpd

..but the httpd error log was showing errors.

How to speed up Drupal running in Vagrant on Windows Host

I recently install and setup Vagrant on my Windows laptop. The only reason I used Windows on my laptop is because of the trainings I conduct. Most companies use Windows based systems and it is difficult to train them if you are showing demos on Linux and they have to repeat the same on Windows.

Run Xamp or Wamp on Windows 8.1 by Disabling port 80 PID: 4

Yes the first thing you would say that "Are you using windows?" and the answer is yes I do use windows 8.1 and I am not ashamed of it. I have some convincing reasons to use Windows which I am listing below.
