Has Jira really changed in the last 20 years?
If you did something on #Jira in 2006 for your company where you created a project, created custom schemes, custom fields, and some workflows. Probably did a migration from some legacy tool to Jira.
Then you moved to a totally different role, never looked back at Jira.
In 2026 if you come back to Jira Cloud - how different would you find it? Yes, there are plenty of new features but what essentially you did 20 years is pretty much 90% of what people do with Jira now as well.

Automatically Start and Stop sprints in Jira
We launched a new app called "SprintRunner for Jira". The motivation behind this app was to help Project Managers and SCRUM Masters focus on delivery and let our app take care of automatically start and stop specific sprints based on a schedule.

Usually managers forgot to stop the sprint on time and that is not a good thing. If you want to follow Agile practices then to get into this habit of iterating you need to ensure that team members are committed to delivering the stories and tasks on time. Stopping the sprint automatically may seem harsh but it will keep a check on everyone.

You can read the documentation of this app here.
If you need a demo of this app please reach out to me directly.
