I just moved to flameshot utility to take screenshots and annotations. It is a bit heavy as compared to ksnip but it works wonderfully well. I have now two keybindings to either save a screenshot or to copy it.

osd_cat is a great simple utility to display a text on your screen. I have started using it to create very simple presentations when I am recording a video.

If you use nmcli to connect to a public wifi without any password then it will not pop up a registration form to connect to the internet but there is a workaround.
