Not good news to hear that @atlassian is laying off 500 employees. I have built a successful career doing @atlassian consulting and have a really good network. I might be able to help especially if you are in the UK and India.

Most of my computing needs are fulfilled by nothing but plain simple good old Shell scripts.

I ran Jira from this desktop computer. Hard to believe? Running and maintaining your own server is not a big deal.

Nothing against certifications but focus on practical knowledge.
