Let us go through some of the recent updates from the @atlassian ecosystem. This week we will discuss #AtlassianCommunityNewLook #WorkHierarchy #WorkCollectiveTerm #ConfluenceLabels #QuickCharts
New Community Portal look
Recently we noticed a different look and feel of the Atlassian Community. It is not massively different from before but still it is good to see sight changes here and there. As we have always suggested Atlassian Community is one of the best place to get answers and learn.

Introducing hierarchy in the All work view in project navigation!
This is a small but very useful change, many Jira users won't even notice that now we have the option to look at the hierarchy of issues from within the project and good this is that it is possible to switch between flat view and hierarchy view.

It's here: 'Work' is the new collective term for all items you track in Jira
In continuation to changing Issue to Work in Jira there are other changes in the way issues were referred in Jira. I believe Atlassian is trying to be consistent and use terms that make sense. I think this post has good explaination of this.

Upcoming event: Make the most of your automatic tests with Xray and Jira Snapshots
Mumbai Apr 21, 5:30 – 6:30 PM
I have been to Mumbai many times for work and there is a ACE community there as well, hopefully in near future I will go to Mumbai just to attend an ACE event. Anyways this event is not in person but a virtual event. The speaker of this event is Rina Nir, she is the CEO of RadBee. They make Jira apps and I have met Rina couple of times in London. I suggest you attend this event. Link to RSVP below.

Video(s) of the week
Sometime back I made a video showing how to quickly analyse your Work items in Jira and create simple charts. Most of the information that project managers need is simple like how many issues are in a particular status or issues assignee count in the project and this can now be done very easily. Many people don't know this yet and that is why I highly recommend you to watch this video.

Blog(s) of the Week
Let us learn how to manage labels in Confluence, we wrote this blog post recently to share how to effectively use labels and how to do that using Confluence REST API as well.
