Deprecating infrequently used macros in Confluence Cloud
Some macros are now deprecated and will be removed from Confluence Cloud on 26th September. Atlassian will no longer fix bugs for these macros and you will see (Deprecated) next to the macro names.

Recurring Work Items in Jira
Creating recurring tasks in Jira is a popular request from users and it Atlassian is finally doing it. Non admin users if allowed can create these recurring tasks. Basically non admin users can easily create an automation rule. This is good and I like this feature.

Video(s) of the week
Jira Cloud has a new UI and most of the Atlassian sites have now got the new UI. Also I made a video about measuring the success of your Jira deployment - this could be useful for those people who are decision makers, may be you moved away from a legacy tool to Jira or just started implementing Jira for your teams and now wondering whether we need to measure the roll out success or not.

Blog(s) of the week
Do you have ScriptRunner for Jira and wondering whether you need to learn coding to use. Well there are lot of automations that you can do for your instance without writing any code. We wrote a short blog explaining how to clone an issue using a ScriptRunner in built post function.
